The side cargo compartments and height of a utility body truck bed can make access to cargo inside the bed area a real pain. Add a BEDSLIDE and you can slide all your cargo right to you. Stay organized and get work done faster.

This is just the question we posed when creating the BEDSLIDE 1000. There are a few straight forward improvements on the BEDSLIDE 1000. First we started out with the 1000 frame itself. The 1000 is made from Laser cut framed steel providing a smoother surface for the bearings compared to the structural steel used in the SR10. Next, we looked at the bearings themselves. We added two cam-roller bearings to the front of the BEDSLIDE where most weight stress is. These have a 4400lb static load rating. Not only will this improve the performance but also the life of the bearings. The BEDSLIDE 1000 latching system also has great improvements. We use a dual pin latching system that makes the BEDSLIDE 1000 stiffer in the locked positions and spreads the impact of slamming the BEDSLIDE shut among two pins. The handle used for this latch is user friendly and works well with the grab bar.
