I HAVE DONE ALOT OF ON-LINE RESEARCH, AND FROM WHAT I SEE THIS CG1500 OR 2000 PRO IS EXACTLY WHAT I WOULD LIKE. I HAVE A 2011 FORD F350 SUPERDUTY CREW CAB WITH AN 8″ STANDARD BOX. I HAVE A GOOFY TAILGATE THAT HAS A GRAB BAR/STEP INTEGRATED IN IT SO IT IS APPROX. 2 1/2″ ABOVE BED HEIGHT. THE BEDSLIDE MUST CLEAR THE TAIL GATE WITH LOAD ONBOARD. DOES YOUR SLIDE ADDRESS THIS?
IF SO I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE ONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Hello Bob,
The BEDSLIDE 1500 PRO CG has a built in adjustable height bearing tab to clear the step up kit. The 2000 PRO HD is constructed differently and would need a spacer kit.
Thanks
I am starting a mobile car cleaning business and have a 2012 Ford Transit Connnect that we want to have a bedslide installed in it. The width is 48″ and length is 69″. The 1000 pound capacity is more than adequate for our equipment. How much does it cost for a 1000 bedslide including a front added second level shelf? Can I install it myself or do I need the local dealer in Madison, WI install it? How far out will the bedslide extend beyond the rear door opening? How is the bedslide attached to the floor of a Ford Transit Connect?

Hey Cal,
That sounds like a great set up. The BEDSLIDE 1000 is $899.00. You may want to ask your local dealer for a price as well. The second level tray is not ready to be produced yet. However, you could make your own and bolt to the decking. You just need to make sure it does not affect the frame work. It’s always best to have a dealer install, but you can install yourself. The BEDSLIDE leaves 16 inches of the top tray in the truck. So you get anywhere from 75-80% outside the truck bed depending on the length of the BEDSLIDE. The BEDSLIDE installs via 4 riv nut bolts. So it’s like an anchor bolt form the top of the truck bed. You just have to make sure you are not drilling into anything below.
Since we do not make a specific model for the Ford Transit Connect, you may want to consider using one of our other parts that is close like the 10-6548-CL. It’s 65″x48″. Otherwise you will need to do a special order. This is no problem though. It’s just a little extra for the custom sizes.
Thank you!
How do I remove my bedslide so I can perform some cleaning of my truck bed.
